leitvde.pt is an independent editorial project. The point of contact for all matters, including privacy and the exercise of your rights, isgeral@leitvde.pt.
Data we do not collect
The site has no user accounts, no registration forms, uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and does not sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. The exam simulator and the calculators run entirely in your browser: the answers and the values you enter are not sent to any server.
Data processed technically
Like any website, the hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) processes technical access logs, namely the IP address, the date and time of the request and the browser type, for security and content delivery purposes. These logs are managed by the hosting infrastructure under Vercel's privacy policy and are not used by us to identify visitors.
We store a single preference in your browser's local storage (localStorage): the light or dark theme you chose. This information stays only on your device, is not transmitted and can be deleted by clearing your browser data.
Contact email
If you write to us at geral@leitvde.pt, we will process your address and the content of your message only to answer your request. Messages are processed by our email provider (Resend, with infrastructure in the European Union) and are not used for other purposes.
External links
The site contains links to external sources (news media, parliament.pt, the official gazette Diário da República, the IMT, among others). By following those links you become subject to the privacy policies of those sites, over which we have no control.
Advertising
The site uses Google AdSense to display adverts. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve adverts based on previous visits to this and other sites and to measure advert performance. In the European Union, a consent message is shown before any use of advertising cookies, and you can refuse or customise that use. You can learn more and manage your preferences atGoogle's advertising policiesand atadssettings.google.com. Apart from these advertising cookies, the site still uses no tracking of its own.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection regarding the personal data you have sent us by email. To exercise these rights, simply write togeral@leitvde.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNPD (the Portuguese data protection authority).
