Methodology
This site is for information purposes and rests on public journalistic and parliamentary sources about the revision of law 45/2018, the TVDE legal regime. Whenever a fact is reported by a single source, we flag it in the text with caution, through expressions such as according to the available information or according to one of the sources, so that the reader knows it awaits confirmation. We have sought to clearly separate what is already approved from what still depends on regulation by government order (portaria), and to distinguish the national law from municipal rules, such as the Lisbon zones. The final text of the law may differ from what is described here until its publication in the official gazette (Diário da República), from which point it takes effect.
