Calculators for the new law

Two quick tools to gauge the impact of the revision: up to which year a vehicle may be assigned to the activity, and the maximum fee the platform may charge. The results are illustrative and update as you type.

Illustrative results

These calculators are for guidance only. Law no. 59/2026 has been in force since 1 September 2026, but several rules still depend on implementing regulations that have not been published, so some points will only be settled once those are issued. Always confirm what applies to your own situation.

Vehicle eligibility

Enter the year of first registration and the vehicle type. Under the new law, the age limit rises to 10 years, or 12 years for electric vehicles.

Today the 7-year limit still applies, and only changes when the law takes effect. The exact counting of the age will depend on the final text of the law.

Platform fee

The intermediation fee keeps its maximum of 25%, but now applies to the trip value excluding VAT. Enter the total value and the VAT rate to see the base and the maximum fee.

Illustrative calculation. The applicable VAT rate depends on the tax treatment of the activity. The novelty of the law is that the fee is calculated on the trip value excluding VAT.
