What this site is
leitvde.pt is an independent information guide to the revision of law no. 45/2018, the legal regime for the transport of passengers in vehicles from electronic platforms (TVDE) in Portugal. It is an independent editorial project and has no connection with the IMT, the AMT, parliament, the government or the Uber and Bolt platforms.
Informational nature
All content is exclusively informational and educational. It does not constitute legal, tax or professional advice, nor does it create any relationship of that kind. The law referred to on this site was approved in parliament on 17 July 2026 and signed on 18 August 2026, but only takes effect after publication in the official gazette (Diário da República); the final text may differ from what is described. For specific decisions you should consult the official text in force and, if necessary, a qualified professional.
The exam simulator is an educational tool of this site: it is not the official IMT exam nor does it use the official question bank. The calculators produce illustrative, non-binding results.

We work to keep the information accurate and up to date, based on public sources identified on the sources page. Even so, we do not guarantee the absence of errors or omissions and we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of the site's content, nor for direct or indirect losses resulting from its use.
